Eviction Times; County Court -v- High Court
How much quicker is it to carry out an eviction through the High Court? Whilst it is not possible to give a definitive answer as each case is on its own merit, the current trends in the difference of time taken between the two options are frankly huge. Whilst some people quite rightly point out that the High Court route is a more costly option, and at face value it is, the irony is that in almost all cases where rent arrears are involved it actually saves the property owner thousands of pounds. This is because the eviction happens much quicker and there whilst there is an initial increase in cost, the months of saved unpaid rent mean that overall the property owner not only gets their property back much quicker but is a lot better off as a result too.
